A24, the studio behind The Green Knight just dropped the trailer and poster for The Death of Robin Hood and it’s a departure from the swashbuckling legend we know.
Directed by Michael Sarnoski, the film strips away the ‘hero’ moniker to reveal a battle-worn, somber anti-hero. Coming off the massive success of Deadpool & Wolverine, Hugh Jackman looks ready to deliver a career-defining, raw performance.
Joining Jackman is Jodi Comer (The Last Duel), Bill Skarsgård (Nosferatu), Murray Bartlett (Nine Perfect Strangers) and Noah Jupe (The Night Manager).
Director Michael Sarnoski is known for other films like Pig with Nicolas Cage and A Quiet Place: Day One. Sarnoski also wrote the script for The Death of Robin Hood.
